Wedding etc
I've not posted for a while, but life has been rather hectic lately. Full time job during the day and a full time job outside of that planning our wedding!
There is one thing that i've kind of started thinking about, and that is that my Mum won't be there. I haven't cried about it yet, but I know that I will. I hope it will be sooner rather than later. I thought of writing this tonight in the hopes that it will help me release some of what I'm starting to feel.
I went over to the town I grew up in the other day, to finalise wedding invitations etc. And I went out to the cemetery and I sat with her for a while. Memories of that day came back to me, but they didn't make me burst out crying this time. I just stayed quiet and alone out there with Mum.
No idea what it will be like on the day without her there. But I know how much I've hated not having her here to ask her things about her wedding etc. I've tried to ask Dad, but he doesn't remember. Mum would, her memory was incredible. Just like her.

About
me...
At the beginning of 2001
I moved to a little country town in the middle
of Victoria (Australia) about 65kms from the
town I was born and grew up in. It's a fairly
peaceful historic town nestled at the foot of
the Strathbogie Ranges. I live here with my
husband in a house we bought in 2002.
When we have the time and money we paint parts of the house,
do some more gardening, and workout what renovations we can do to the house next...
and also try to keep up with each day as it passes.
