Regurgitator, "the Bubble", the Royal Melbourne Show & tiredness
Regurgitator are currently in a bubble in Melbourne's Federation Square. We've been watching them on pay tv since it started, and we've been loving every minute of it. We went and saw the Bubble, and caught a glimpse of the band members thru the glass. I even bucked up the courage to wave at Ben, and he waved back, which I wasn't expecting as they must be well and truely sick of being gawked at by every Tom, Dick & Harry walking past day in day out.

But it is all good :)
An appreciation of them, their music and what they do, has grown on me in the past 3 three week.

the Royal Melbourne Show yet again another great day out, I love it. Can't wait for next year :)

... now we're home again, and extremely exhausted complete with sore muscles.

Melbourne used to not appeal to me, but after being to Sydney and having fun up there, I'm enjoying our little trips to Melbourne.

Also, I think it has something to do with the person I'm going with. He makes all the difference. We do fun things together, see interesting sights.

.... at the risk of sounding all mushy here, I think I'll stop talking now! *blush*

Cheesed off
It's one thing to want to use your nickname when creating a new email addy, only to find some other ratbag has pinched it, but to post on a chat board, that you used to post on, is pushing the limit.

Hopefully there'll be a lull in this flamin migrane, long enough for me to post how I'm feeling about the dropkick who pinched my nickname.

Sadness
My friend's little cat "Bugsy" was killed today. I feel so down, I don't know how to comfort her, even though I lost my little cat in much the same way.

I hope "M" will be ok, I hate seeing her not happy. She's such a wonderful bubbly person; and a good friend.

Creepy crawlies.
Well, we both got a bit of a fright today, we found something that looks very much like one of these lovely creatures, a Victorian Funnel Web spider *please note the sarcasm! walking across our lawn (headed toward the house). It got quite agro, and was rearing up just like a Sydney Funnel Web Spider would; not a very happy chappy!!! ...neither were we.

We naturally captured it in a jar, drilled holes into the top, as I want to take it to work on Monday and have one of the guys identify it properly.

Friday's
Every Friday, my Manager has a saying "it's 'poets day'"

P.O.E.T.S day = Piss Off Early Tomorrow's Saturday

World of Warcraft
... it really does take over your life!

Question of the month: How do you like your coffee (or tea)?

Myth: Housework. Once it's done, you can sit down and have a rest.

About me...
At the beginning of 2001 I moved to a little country town in the middle of Victoria (Australia) about 65kms from the town I was born and grew up in. It's a fairly peaceful historic town nestled at the foot of the Strathbogie Ranges. I live here with my husband in a house we bought in 2002. When we have the time and money we paint parts of the house, do some more gardening, and workout what renovations we can do to the house next... and also try to keep up with each day as it passes.
Messages ...
If I can find something similar to tagboard on the net that is customisable, I will put it here. Any ideas you can put my way?.
