Home improvements (part 2)
Due to running out of paint yesterday, we put the finishing touches on the white pickets today. Thank Heavens we had an RDO today; wouldn't have been good to have a half finished fence out the front.

It looks good, can't wait to start painting over the blue bits on the house.

Exhaustion....
Well, we painted the front fence today; painted the posts the chocolate colour, and the pickets white (as they were). The fence is looking very nice :)

Bloody hard and tiring work, but definitely worth it.

Also, put the first coat of "choc milk" coloured paint on the back door. It's looking quite good too :)

Family day
We had C's parents, sister and her family over for lunch today, it was a rather good day.
Cooked up quite a few pasties last night, and they turned out really yummy :) Most were just the typical home made pastie filling, others were a pizza kind of flavour, and a few had a fair bit of curry in them!

"Home Improvements...."
Well, the colour of the front door has now changed from a sky blue to a "chocolate milk" colour. We're thinking of painting the posts of the front fence the same colour. We'll see how we go.

Funnies
Nick the Dragon Slayer had a long-standing obsession to nuzzle the beautiful Queen's voluptuous breasts, but he knew the penalty for this would be death. One day he revealed his secret desire to his colleague, Horatio, the Physician, who was the King's chief doctor. Horatio the Physician exclaimed that he could arrange for Nick the Dragon Slayer to satisfy his desire, but it would cost him 1,000 gold coins to arrange it. Without pause, Nick the Dragon Slayer readily agreed to the scheme.

The next day, Horatio the Physician made a batch of itching powder and poured a little bit into the Queen's brassiere while she bathed. Soon after she dressed, the itching commenced and grew intense. Upon being summoned to the Royal Chambers to address this incident, Horatio the Physician informed the King and Queen that only special saliva, if applied for four hours, would cure this type of itch, and that tests had shown that only the saliva of Nick the Dragon Slayer would work as the antidote to cure the itch.

The King quickly summoned Nick the Dragon Slayer. Horatio the Physician then slipped Nick the Dragon Slayer the antidote for the itching powder, which he quickly put into his mouth, and for the next four hours, Nick worked passionately on the Queen's voluptuous and magnificent breasts. The Queen's itching was eventually relieved, and Nick the Dragon Slayer left satisfied and touted as a hero.

Upon returning to his chamber, Nick the Dragon Slayer found Horatio the Physician demanding his payment of 1,000 gold coins. With his obsession now satisfied, Nick the Dragon Slayer couldn't have cared less and, knowing that Horatio the Physician could never report this matter to the King, shooed him away with no payment made.

The next day, Horatio the Physician slipped a massive dose of the same itching powder into the King's shorts. The King immediately summoned Nick the Dragon Slayer...

Light, weather and approaching Spring
Yay, Spring is on the way!

A faint tinge of green is being lightly spraypainted on to the trees, as Spring gets nearer.

The evenings are getting lighter, so are the mornings, it's not quite as bitingly cold as it has been. And the weekends are still going to quick.

Saturday saw lots of spiderweb floating around on the breeze. As I was told when I was younger, this was supposed to mean that there was a lot of rain on the way! Not too much rain falling at the moment, but you never know what the rest of the week may hold.

World of Warcraft
... it really does take over your life!

Question of the month: How do you like your coffee (or tea)?

Myth: Housework. Once it's done, you can sit down and have a rest.

About me...
At the beginning of 2001 I moved to a little country town in the middle of Victoria (Australia) about 65kms from the town I was born and grew up in. It's a fairly peaceful historic town nestled at the foot of the Strathbogie Ranges. I live here with my husband in a house we bought in 2002. When we have the time and money we paint parts of the house, do some more gardening, and workout what renovations we can do to the house next... and also try to keep up with each day as it passes.
Messages ...
If I can find something similar to tagboard on the net that is customisable, I will put it here. Any ideas you can put my way?.
