Baldur's Gate, rain, upcoming holidays, and stuff
Just realised that I'm almost at the end of the game; I'm getting my butt whipped a little bit in the "Keep of Pale Night" (see Planet Baldur's Gate) - I must need to have different weapons or something. I'll have a play around with weapons at some point, spend a heck of a lot of coinage in the process no doubt!

Well, looks like the rain has set in for another couple of days, which is good, all the paddocks out around the town are looking all green and lush again .... hard to imagine them as they were 3 months ago; all dirt with very little (dry) grass on them, and bone dry dams.

Well, I've got two weeks holiday from next Monday, can't wait. We're going to paint a room, or two, and possibly buy some more things to make our house look more like a home :-)

I'm also going to invest in some Anti virus software for the home network, it's not been at the top of the "need to spend money on..." list, but now I think it is a good time to invest in it. VET, I believe is the way to go!

One of our work mates left work today, to follow another path in life. I'm feeling a bit down tonight, she is a very nice young (I say that, as she's younger than me!) lady, who brightened our days. I hope all goes well for her in the future.

Ulchalothe's Lair - Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 2
Well, I found it. Went in and wiped her and her minions out in about 20 seconds (thanks to my two gemmed sabres and crossbow)

And now I'm on my way to find the last artifact. I'm so loving this game. I love all things Forgotten Realms and Dungeons & Dragons.

If anyone knows of a game (or games) that are similar in game play (and FR/D&D) to this game, please let me know what it is, and I'll buy it. I'm so into this game and type of game. :)

Tonight, I believe we are having Chinese food for dinner :)

Fire Brigade sirens, cold, DVD's
When you wake up to the sound of the local Fire Brigade's siren (calling the volunteers to a fire) at 6am in the morning, the worst thoughts pass through your mind. Like it may be some poor buggers home burning, in the dead of winter when it is cold enough to freeze the balls off a brass bull!

I'm positive that Winter these days is not as bad as it used to be. I can remember winter was pretty much rain everyday (pretty much a thunderstorm about twice a week) and much much colder in the mornings.

I know we're still kind of in a drought, but the winters are becoming more and more strange.

Have been watching Karate Kid I, II & III (got the box set on DVD) and it is so good. I know some may think those three movies are kind of crappy, but I quite like them (still don't quite know what to think of number 4)

I'm going to see if I can get the 3 original Star Wars movies on DVD (box set - with all the extended bits, special features, etc) next. I've got them on VHS, but they're as they were first shown, not the remastered versions.

All is good *happy*

Home improvements.
Well, we've started talking about painting another room!!!

And the loo looks like it is going to be the next room to be painted. We'll most probably use up the left over paint from the lounge room and dining room (two similar colours - just slightly different darknesses (hues)).

So, next weekend, will probably be spent, sanding down the walls of the loo, then painting them. It's a good thing the loo has a "false ceiling" in it which makes it a bit easier to paint :-)

Life style and time.
I think I have reached a point in my life where I need to step back, look at all the things I do, how I do them, and what I could be doing!!!

First thing I need to do is, get off my arse and get motivated.

Exercise more, that I know has been lacking. If I start exercising more, I just know I'll gain more motivation, feel better, and start looking more like what I used to.

Learning. I've been crapping on for ages about learning this and that, it's about time I started to put my brain where my mouth is, so to speak.

Me & mine.
Well, what can I say. I've had a pretty weird couple of weeks!

------------------------
May 25th, I ended up in the emergency ward of the hospital in the town I grew up in, for about 9 hours. We think it was a result of too much stress!!
After a whole heap of tests, there's nothing wrong with me. Just a bit overweight, but I already knew that!!!!!!!!!
------------------------

My dad has also had a trip to the hospital, seems he's not been sleeping very well and his body has basically told him to look after himself a bit better.

My new job is fantastic, I'm loving every minute of it.

Can't wait for the weather to warm up a bit so I can make a few changes to my site and possibly add a couple of pages to it.

I'm playing Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance 2 for the Playstation2 like a thing posessed, and I'm loving it. Just can't find the enterance to Ulchalothe's Lair and it's cheesing me off a little bit, but I'll get there :)

CJ's bought a game he really really likes it's called "Medal of Honour - Frontline" he's playing it so much, I can't get near the playstation *fond smile* good to see he's found a game to play on the PS2 :)

World of Warcraft
... it really does take over your life!

Question of the month: How do you like your coffee (or tea)?

Myth: Housework. Once it's done, you can sit down and have a rest.

About me...
At the beginning of 2001 I moved to a little country town in the middle of Victoria (Australia) about 65kms from the town I was born and grew up in. It's a fairly peaceful historic town nestled at the foot of the Strathbogie Ranges. I live here with my husband in a house we bought in 2002. When we have the time and money we paint parts of the house, do some more gardening, and workout what renovations we can do to the house next... and also try to keep up with each day as it passes.
Messages ...
If I can find something similar to tagboard on the net that is customisable, I will put it here. Any ideas you can put my way?.
