Bits and pieces
Well, I'm here at last. Work is going fabulously, as is life, love and happiness.
We're going to Melbourne (for the Comedy Festival) next Wednesday. I'm looking forward to it. We'll be spending a fortune again no doubt, but we don't go to Melbourne (or anywhere else) much anymore; so it's all good.
I'm hoping I can get some new clothes while we're in Melbourne. I'm going to make sure I don't pack as much as I usually do, so that there's more room in the bag to put bought things.
Of course I'm going to see if the next Ian Irvine book is out and in the stores.
There's no point in me looking in computer stores for more games, as this pc seems to have bitten the dust as far as the newer games are concerned. *patiently waits for Bokken to return emails* **fond smile**
Well, must go to bed, feeling a bit tired this week. The weather is back to being weird - nippy in the mornings, hot in the arvo, and then mild when it's time to go to bed!!!!!!!!
It should settle down soon.
Night all :-)
.... misc
Time is going way too fast.
It was my birthday on Wednesday, my fiance bought me a beautiful necklace (a dainty fine chain with a heart pendant) .... Totally unexpected.
He is by far the best. My soul mate.

This site is one that I am reading quite regularly:
Emilio
Work .... and other things.
Well, Thursday I started my new job ....... oh, hang on a minute, I'd better start from the beginning!
For the past 1 year and 8 months I have been the Administration Officer for the Planning Dept of the local Shire. I've now switched jobs and am now the Admin Officer for the Compliance (Local Laws) dept.
It was time for a change. Before I was offered the job, I had been thinking about a change, and then there it was! It felt right.
--------------------------------------------------------
Well, my copy of EverQuest sold! Which is good, I wouldn't have been able to afford to play it. I'm glad it sold.
-------------------------------------------------------
I'm in the process of creating a new look for my Oubliette site, not sure which of the layouts to choose yet, but I'm sure it will work out :-)
A doberman named Jess.
I met the coolest dog today, her name is Jess and she is a brown (tan) Doberman. She is gorgeous! I'm only 5'1" so meeting a dog of that size at your front door makes you a tad nervous. But we said hello and we got on like a house on fire :-)
She has beautiful big feet ~ dunno why, but dogs with big feet, like labrador pups, make me go all gooey! ~ the softest ears and a nickname of "boofhead" which if you saw Jess you'd understand, she has a big solid skull and a kind face.
Dinner and family.
Would you believe we're cooking roast pork and vegies for dinner tonight??? Well we thought it would be nice to have CJ's parents over for dinner, so that's what we're having :-)
Lord of the Rings: the Return of the King is still screening at the Albury Cinema Centre. Oh, how I would love to go and see it in a cinema again, but since it is a 4 hour round trip and a (rounded up) 4 hour movie, it's not likely that will happen tomorrow, but I'm looking forward to hiring it on DVD. I wonder when the next Public Holiday is so that I can hire it on the Sunday morning and not have to return it until the Tuesday *LOL*
I still can't believe we've got a day off tomorrow, it's going to be so good.
Bugs, Cockatoos and other things
The blasted Cockatoos are still hanging around this area of town. Thank heavens we're waking up when it is less light (they start screaming when you can make out the trees on the horizon) so we can sleep until the alarm goes off.
We both caught the bug that's going around, had to stay home on Wednesday. Screaming cockatoos and headaches don't mix!!!!
The weather's been crazy again lately, had been a couple of days and nights that were very nice, but now it's back to a dry smothering heat and stuffy nights :-(
The PS2 game I'm keeping an eye on Ebay.com.au is going to time out in about half an hour. I'd like to get it, but not for over $70!
And my EverQuest game hasn't got any bids on it yet, I hope someone bids for it before it times out. If not, I'll just put it up again until it does get auctioned.
Monday is a Public Holiday (we've both got the day off). Not sure what we're going to do on Monday, let alone tomorrow. Heck, we didn't even know what we were going to do today when we woke up!
So tired ....
I've no idea what's wrong with me, I'm so tired, and this blasted headache won't go away.
Anyway, I've put my EverQuest game up for auction on EBay.com.au I hope it sells. I've also got my eye on a game called "Dark Cloud" for PS2, but not sure if I'll get it or not.
FFX is going well, I feel I'm doing better at this one than with FF8, but I'm probably not, I just get lost a lot in FF8 *LOL*
Once again I've missed seeing/taping the Oscars, but I'm not too worried about it.
Does "installing" a built-in robe in a bedroom help to increase the value of a house? It would, wouldn't it? I'm thinking of having one made for our spare room (this room the pc is in) which we have taken to calling "the Games Room" and later on buying a single bed for in here too, incase we have visitors.
Not sure how my diet "healthy eating plan" is coming along this week, I won't be going to the meeting and "weighing in" on Thursday, so I hope the news will be good when I go next week. Last week I had lost 1.2kgs that's pretty good considering I wasn't even trying! I've just got to remember to exercise more.
Must go, dinner has yet to be eaten :-)

World of Warcraft ... it really does take over your life!
Question of the month: How do you like your coffee (or tea)?
Myth: Housework. Once it's done, you can sit down and have a rest.

About
me...
At the beginning of 2001
I moved to a little country town in the middle
of Victoria (Australia) about 65kms from the
town I was born and grew up in. It's a fairly
peaceful historic town nestled at the foot of
the Strathbogie Ranges. I live here with my
husband in a house we bought in 2002.
When we have the time and money we paint parts of the house,
do some more gardening, and workout what renovations we can do to the house next...
and also try to keep up with each day as it passes.

If I can find something similar to tagboard on the net that is customisable, I will put it here. Any ideas you can put my way?.
