Mid week again!
It's going to be a short week this week. Had an RDO on Monday .... twas good.
Playing Final Fantasy X at the moment, it's actually really good. I'm also looking for a game called "Dark Cloud" from off the net (to buy) but I'm not having much luck at the moment. E-Bay.com.au may be the last option I try.
Well, must get ready for work :-)
Yay, it's Friday!
Ok, it's Friday night, Lord of the Rings: the Return of the King is about to start at the Cinema here in town, and I'm actually going to not go!!!! Mind you it is stiflingly hot outside and will be just as bad in the Hall (the Cinema).
We have Monday off (RDO) *Yay* :-)
I have no idea what we're doing this "long" weekend. But it should be good :-)
There was something I was going to enter, but I have forgotten, when I remember I'll enter it in.
Valentine's Day & the Seymour Alternative Field Day Expo
Hmmmmm, love. It's wonderful, couldn't live without it.
Got to 42 degrees C today I think. Couldn't spend more than 2 hours at the Expo, but it was not bad. Noticed that the moon was "tipped up" again, so who knows there may be some more rain on the way! Then went into Target to cool down, they've got fantastic Air Conditioning in there. Went and got the groceries and headed home.
Soooooo hot outside.
Plums anyone?
Well, the plums are still stitting on the tree .... hardly touched (by the possums, that is) CJ has had a few while watering the garden.
We can't understand why the plums have been left. No birds or possums have visited at all much. Maybe it is too hot for them?! *shrug
.... painting.
Well, today we painted the hallway, yup, good idea painting walls when the temperature is a lovely 35 + degrees Celsius!!!!!!!!
But they're done, they look so different, but they look so right. Almos like they've been this colour all the time. Sounds weird, I know, but that's what I think each time I walk through/down the hallway.
Now for a rest before work tomorrow :-)

We bought the paint for the hallway today!
Looks like we'll be painting tomorrow. But before that happens I've got to wash the walls and put a load of washing on!
Tomorrow will be painting and vacuuming the floor!
Aren't we mad for doing the painting the day before we start the working week!?

Well it's midweek!
Not a lot has happened, except we now have the dining table set up right with the chairs etc, we can now have people around for dinner *Yay* :-)

At the beginning of 2001
I moved to a little country town in the middle
of Victoria (Australia) about 65kms from the
town I was born and grew up in. It's a fairly
peaceful historic town nestled at the foot of
the Strathbogie Ranges. I live here with my
husband in a house we bought in 2002.
When we have the time and money we paint parts of the house,
do some more gardening, and workout what renovations we can do to the house next...
and also try to keep up with each day as it passes.
