!
It's after 12am. I can't believe I lasted this long staying awake.
I'm soooooo tired. I'm amazed i kept myself occupied on the net for so long. when i first got the net, it was fantastic, but now not only has the novelty worn off, but it is kind of ........ um .... boring comes to mind, but that's not quite the word i was looking for!
well, off to bed i go, i've lost the shift key somewhere in the last paragraph, and i'm inserting spaces in the middle of words instead of the end.
night all
Well, our curtains and blind are up *Yay* One step closer to this house being that bit more ours :-)
They look good, I'll keep you posted on how well they help keep out the heat when Summer arrives *S*
*surfing*
Well, I've washed the vinyl flooring throughout the house, no easy task. Now I think I'll have the next few days off "work" to get back to my holidays *L*
Tomorrow our new curtains arrive.
Note to self: Save up and get a webcam!
Anyone care to donate cash for a good cause!?!?! j/k *L*
Well, the kitchen has been painted, took us a fair bit longer than we thought, but then there were more corners etc to go around, rather than a flat "square" of wall!
It's looking rather good, the whole kitchen looks bigger and brighter :-)
Well I washed the walls in the kitchen. Which is not an easy thing to do when your house has 10' ceilings and you don't have a step ladder!!!
But they're washed, tomorrow we paint!
This Sugar Soap stuff is wonderful. Don't know what I'd do without it.
Well, it's Friday, and I've got next week off work. WooHoo.
Still trying to tell myself that it is a good thing to wash the walls in the kitchen this weekend, and then possibly paint the walls before the curtain people bring our new curtains.
I'm so tired I can't think of anything to post, altho I know there's been plenty in the last 3 days or so to post about!
Night!
I kind of agreed with this, I am very "arn't sure how to act when you're with them" (people)
I wouldn't say I'm lonely though.
 You represent... loneliness.
Always alone and always sad about it... unlike angst, you don't have to look for a reason to be miserable. You want to be in the company of people but aren't sure how to act when you're with them. Sometimes you have to make an effort. You can't always wait for others to come to you.
What feeling do you represent? brought to you by Quizilla
Well, it is Melbourne Cup Day, a public holiday for metropolitan Melbourne! What would they do without their "famous" horse race?
Well, I could have gone to work, but C (my fiance) had the day off work, soooo I thought wouldn't it be nice to have the day off too, spend some Q-time (quality time) together. Which we did, in the only way we know how ..... we pulled out another tree in the garden! Which leaves us completely knackered afterwards, but it is fun to have another overgrown, uncared for bush/tree gone. Ready for the few natives and fruit trees that we will plant.
That's the thing about buying a house that has been rented for ages, the tenants don't ever care about the garden, they just let the trees and shrubs do whatever; never prune, water, care for. So when a happy couple buy the house, they have 30 ft gangly "trees" (what are actually 3 ft shrubs) that have just gone apesh!t with neglect.
But we're having a lot of fun making this house our home.
Well, after two hours of trying to get the template up and working ok, I've done it. Still got to fix the archive area and put in some links, but all said and done, I'm happy with the result. :-)
I wonder if anyone else goes thru all this "testing" stage when they first create a blog!?
Testing testing 1 2 3
One month to go for the next Lord of the Rings movie.
I'm having trouble being patient!

World of Warcraft ... it really does take over your life!
Question of the month: How do you like your coffee (or tea)?
Myth: Housework. Once it's done, you can sit down and have a rest.

About
me...
At the beginning of 2001
I moved to a little country town in the middle
of Victoria (Australia) about 65kms from the
town I was born and grew up in. It's a fairly
peaceful historic town nestled at the foot of
the Strathbogie Ranges. I live here with my
husband in a house we bought in 2002.
When we have the time and money we paint parts of the house,
do some more gardening, and workout what renovations we can do to the house next...
and also try to keep up with each day as it passes.

If I can find something similar to tagboard on the net that is customisable, I will put it here. Any ideas you can put my way?.
